Emma Roberts has revealed that her new blonde hair gets her lots of attention from the opposite sex.
The 18-year-old actress, who debuted her new hair colour at a recent film premiere, said that she has just as much fun as a blonde as she did when she had dark brown hair.
Roberts told Us Magazine: “I had a really good time being brunette, but being blonde… I’ve had an equally good time. Guys check me out more, which is weird.
“When I had brown hair, girls would tell me I was pretty all the time, and then with blonde hair, guys tell me I’m pretty a lot. So I really don’t know what that means.”
The star said that she dyed her hair because she “wanted to change it up” and has come to the conclusion that she is “happier as a blonde”.
Blondes really do have more fun.
Emma Roberts, 18, debuted blonde hair at the Friday premiere of her drama, Twelve — and she tells UsMagazine.com she’s garnering a lot of attention from guys.
“I had a really good time being brunette, but being blonde… I’ve had an equally good time. Guys check me out more, which is weird,” she told Us. “When I had brown hair, girls would tell me I was pretty all the time, and then with blonde hair, guys tell me I’m pretty a lot. So I really don’t know what that means.”
Roberts prefers the new ‘do, inspired by her role in drama It’s Kind of a Funny Story (costarring Zach Galifianakis; out in November 2010).
“I wanted to change it up… I feel happier as a blonde,” said the actress, who donned Miu Miu to the premiere. “I feel quite peppy lately.”
She says she’ll keep the look for awhile.
“It took literally two days to get it from brown to blonde, so I’m kind of not looking forward to spending 48 hours in the hair chair yet again,” she told Us.

Although the two star in the upcoming Valentine’s Day together, Emma Roberts and her aunt, Julia Roberts, don’t talk about work outside the set.
The 18-year-old actress shared with MTV, “I think everyone is kind of like anticipating me to be an actress so they weren’t very surprised when I decided to be, but we don’t really talk about the whole aspect of work with each other.”
Emma, who is in New York filming another movie now, continued, “[We choose not to] cause I don’t really see them that often and when I do it’s all about family and just like being together and catching up on personal lives rather than work.”

TAYLOR Swift is not a lady to be messed with!
The singer — who recently celebrated her 20th birthday — apparently flew into a jealous rage when she saw Julia Roberts‘ niece Emma Roberts making a play for her hunky beau Taylor Lautner, who stars with both girls in new movie Valentine’s Day.
“Everyone on set could tell Emma was crushing on Taylor’s teenage toyboy — she kept making goo-goo eyes whenever she saw him, even though they have no scenes together,” a source told American tabloid the National Enquirer.
“Then Emma pushed too hard, unexpectedly showing up on-set to watch a love scene between Taylor and Taylor.
“Swift got really creeped out because Emma kept staring at Taylor, so just to show her that the race really does go to the swift, she suddenly kissed her boyfriend like he was the last guy on earth. Read more… »

If you weren’t sure if Chace Crawford could pull off playing a New York drug dealer, then the new stills of the “Gossip Girl” heartthrob from his upcoming Joel Schumacher flick, “Twelve,” which debuts at Sundance next month, may convince you that he has a bad boy lurking inside of him. Let’s remember everyone had doubts that James Van Der Beek could make the leap from teen king to bad boy, and then he made “Rules of Attraction,” and he rocked it.
In four new stills from the flick on Firstshowing.net, Chace, who plays a dealer (his clients? Wealthy teens!) whose whole life changes when his cousin is murdered and his best friend is arrested, is seen sitting in a kitchen with a very large wad of marijuana at his side.
In two others, Emma Roberts, Zoe Kravitz and Rory Culkin are seen celebrating someone’s 18th birthday.
50 Cent, who also stars in the movie, told MTV News earlier this year he boned up on his Chace knowledge by watching “Gossip Girl.” “I got a chance to see it,” he said, adding, “It’s cool just to be in the presence of talented artists. It’s an interesting character. The dynamics are kind of exciting.”
